Bobattu

Description

Bobattu, also known as Puran Poli or Obbattu, is a soft, thin flatbread made with refined flour and stuffed with a luscious chana dal–jaggery filling. Cooked gently on a hot griddle with ghee, it turns into a delicate, melt-in-the-mouth festive sweet. The rich aroma of ghee and cardamom blends beautifully with the sweetness of jaggery, making it a favorite in every Telugu festival.
